Having been a single mom for the past years (too many to mention!), I am now at a point in my life where I can do those things that I've put off -- like traveling, taking a hot air balloon ride, visiting the National parks, etc. I am beginning to push my envelop a bit -- I'm learning kickboxing, eating octopus, and thinking of breaking out of my comfortable niche of doing things by myself. I want to focus on the last great love of my life, and am scheduling interviews!!

I'd like to meet someone who is outgoing, a bit traditional, secure (mentally, emotionally, financially)and willing to put as much energy into a relationship as I am. I think the perfect man would be intelligent, funny, cultured (but not too much), kind, compassionate, tolerant of the foibles and weaknesses of others (yes, I do have a few) and willing to break out of the box with me. (Not necessarily in that order).

Activities that would be especially fun to do with someone would include walking, going out to dinner, cooking dinner at home (not always such fun by yourself!), movies, concerts, (I am a classical music lover), dancing (how about salsa and ballroom dancing lessons?) perhaps a class at a local community (junior) college just to expand our horizons. I am willing to expand my horizons with your interests, as I expect you probably have some I didn't mention! I am willing to watch sports on TV with you, but I do enjoy live sporting events as well (except for wrestling and boxing). I've attended a hockey game!

It's been a while since I've been on a "first" date! I'm open to suggestions. But I think something fun like Disneyland wouldn't be out of the question -- in case we aren't a perfect match, we could have a great time anyway!!
